The Team

Clinical Direction · Co-founder
Hi, nice to meet you —
I'm a full-time LPC in the Chicago area. I entered this field wanting more time for my clients, professional growth, and the people I love. Instead, I often came home at 7 p.m. and opened my laptop to write endless consultation notes, intakes, treatment plans, and progress notes — paperwork that rarely felt connected to my clients' growth.
I wanted to build BeeThere because I need it. I need my time back for the things that matter.
At BeeThere, I lead our clinical direction. I understand what therapists' everyday pain points are and what they aren't. I know how important confidentiality is, and how AI can empower us instead of replacing our clinical judgment. I listen closely to our users and help build a product that is useful and affordable. As a bilingual therapist, I also want to make sure it benefits fellow bilingual clinicians across this diverse country.
I care, and I'm building something I want to use myself.
Engineering & Product · Co-founder
Hi, I'm Simon.
I've built companies and shipped products before, but BeeThere started much closer to home.
I watched Ella come home after a full day with clients and spend the rest of the evening writing notes. The books she wanted to read and the trainings she wanted to take kept piling up. One thing I learned from couples therapy is that I often show love through acts of service. So I did what comes naturally to me — I started building something that could give her some of that time back.
As we spoke with more therapists, I realized Ella wasn't the only one who needed it.
At BeeThere, I lead engineering and product architecture. I work on the models, infrastructure, and privacy architecture behind the product.
I want BeeThere to feel simple. It should fit into a therapist's day without adding another thing to learn.

Our Promises
BeeThere drafts, organizes, and thinks alongside you — but it never decides. Every note is yours to edit, reject, or rewrite before it becomes part of the record.
HIPAA compliance is basic underlying infrastructure, not a feature. No one but you can see your client data, and client materials are never used to train models.
Most of what build started as conversations with clinicians who told us what feels itchy or clunky in their workflow. Your feedback shapes the roadmap.
We're a small team — and we read everything.
